The extraction of lava stone blocks takes place at the foot of active or extinguished volcanoes.
In this phase, the blocks are selected according to their future use (general construction, urban furniture, artistic and decorative production).
After this first selection, we proceed to the creation of raw semi-finished products according to the chosen uses, in our case large slabs with certain thicknesses.

Quality control is fundamental, which is why our agents periodically intervene directly in the quarry for the choice of the best material.
At this point, the semi-finished sheets are delivered at our factory in Deruta where, thanks to specialized machinery and thanks to manual skills, they are cut into the shapes and dimensions desired for the realization of our unique and exclusive natural volcanic lava stone tables.
